You have no interest as to
Who the hell I might be.
Deeming me far beneath you,
As if we were placed at the
Opposite ends of a spectrum,
You look down on me, sneering.
I am somebody, I gladly possess
Emotions and feelings so far
Beyond the scope of logic.
Here I stand before you now;
Why make such a feeble apology
When you've caused untold damage?
Who the hell I might be.
Deeming me far beneath you,
As if we were placed at the
Opposite ends of a spectrum,
You look down on me, sneering.
I am somebody, I gladly possess
Emotions and feelings so far
Beyond the scope of logic.
Here I stand before you now;
Why make such a feeble apology
When you've caused untold damage?
This is a poem for 27th May in celebration of Poetry Appreciation Challenge 2013 (writing one poem per day from 7/5/13 to 7/7/13)
Personally I just hate it when a person apologises to me when a) they caused me so much pain and anguish with no regards to the consequences of their actions and b) they do not show strong conviction when they say they are sorry.

I don't know who said it but the saying ..."once spoken, words cannot be taken back"....comes to mind.....sorry can't cover it.
