World War 2 Era by British-Prophetess World War 2 Era by British-Prophetess
Stamp request for :iconthelasttrueartist: He wanted his stamp to be a surprise.

I had a look through his gallery and I noticed he's doing a series of World War II comics. Ever since I studied History at school and also going to numerous museums with my family/the school I developed an interest in World War II.

I know what Hitler and the Nazis done was very horrendous in terms of their actions, but the reasons leading up to how the World War started is interesting to say the least e.g. Hitler's quick rise to power in Germany and Austria. There were pretty fascinating stories/events that happened in World War II.

A couple of days ago, I really got into the History Channel miniseries known as "The World Wars", which tells the tale of the two world wars through the eyes of FDR, Churchill, Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin along with some famous war generals from WWII including Patton and Tojo.  Despite no mention of the internment of Japanese Americans or any mention of the Yalta conference or Marshall and Nimitz,  it's still an amazing series, and I've been addicted to it ever since I first saw it!

BTW I've loved the history of both WWI and WWII ever since I was in high school, and now I see it as not two separate wars, but a 31-year-long conflict that engulfed the globe and claimed over 100 million lives.  Yes, both Germany's and Japan's actions were horrific, but throughout the course of history, many nations have went through a period (in some cases, more than one) where they took part in grand massacre and theft, including not only Germany, Japan, USSR, and Italy, but also US, UK, France, China, and Spain.

I liked learning about it in school. I also learnt about the Japanese involvement and why they invaded Pearl Harbour.

Japan were jealous of the Americans and how they were the worlds biggest super power and not them, bombing Pearl Harbour was the biggest mistake they ever made, they only woke up a sleeping giant

Exactly. Pearl Harbour was the main reason why America joined the War. Wasn't the Japanese jealous of Americans for their resources such as oil?

it was more America were the biggest nation on the planet and had it all and Japan hated America for that, they had a vision like Hitler did but it was different, they wanted to rid Asia of European rule, which ironically did happen cause of the Second World War, but I can go into much more then just America, I can tell you some info about the apeasment that Neville Chamberline had done, the Phony War and how everything fell apart. Neville Chamberline lost the faith of the goverment and parliment were chanting Go, Go, Go to him, this is when Churchill took over and I know about the defiance of the British People and how we were never going surrender, also did you know Hitler originally did not see the British as a enemy but as an ally, he didn't want to go to war with the UK as they were at the time one of the best armed forces on the planet.
