19/1/15: I've already reached the halfway point of this challenge, so I've got another 100 more comments to give. It's gonna be a bit of a challenge considering it's another two more days until the deadline, so I have to start doing a lot more work if I want this project to be a success like the previous ones. Blame that on the fact I've been kinda lazy and I've also been out and about too.

14/1/15: I'm back again with the 200 comment challenge. I decided to have a bit of a break from last month when I completed the 100 comment mini challenge so I could focus more on writing. And now I feel comfortable in doing the challenge again :) Like always please leave suggestions of other people who you think their work deserves comments on. Also if you want to recommend yourself you can leave a reason why.

30/12/14: Yep, I've managed to finish my mini challenge of giving out 100 comments to 100 different people. I'm so glad I didn't go for 200 comments as that would have put a lot of stress on me considering the fact we celebrated Christmas not so long ago. But still thanks for your comments of support. They wasn't any suggestions I've noticed this time around, but then again that's okay because I had plenty of work to comment on in my favourites. So next time perhaps some people can give me suggestions on who to comment and whatnot. I'll be resuming the 200 comment challenge when I next do this, and it will be from the 14/1/15 to 21/1/15 :D

28/12/14: I apologise for not keeping everyone up to date concerning this project.  I'm a little over the halfway point as I gave out 60 comments to people and I have another 40 comments to do before I finally reach the target of 100 comments. Gotta admit during the Christmas period it kinda has been hard for me adjusting to being online and commenting since I've been spending most of my time with my family as I should be over the festive period. So after a lot of hard work and dedication the challenge is back on track! :D What I intend to do is to do 20 comments both tomorrow and the day after. That way I can complete the challenge within the time frame.

23/12/14: So yeah, I guess now would be a good time to explain why instead of giving out 200 comments like I previously done in my challenges, I'll be giving out 100 comments. The main reason is plain and simple - it's Christmas. I just want to take it easy this week and I want to spend time with my family as that's quite to be expected. Also, I don't want to make myself ill during the holiday period otherwise that would suck. Just think of it as a mini challenge as such :D Anyway feel free to suggest others who deserve comments or you can even nominate yourself but please provide reasons. You know the drill, people :P

16/12/14: Well, I've managed to complete the challenge for the third time now. And I've just realised something - since I have started this I have gave out 600 comments in total, which is pretty fantastic if I do say so myself :) As always thanks for the support, suggestions and the chance to discover new artists too. The next time I'll be doing this is from 23/12/14 to 30/12/14, however this time it's going to be different. Instead of doing 200 comments like I normally do, this will be a mini project/challenge as I will be giving out 100 comments. I'll be sure to explain my reasons for deciding upon this next time I'll update this journal.

14/12/14: Right now I've made 150 comments, so I think now is a good point to relax and take a break for the rest of the night. Since I have two more days to complete the challenge, here is what I plan to do - I'll give out 25 comments tomorrow and on the day after that I'll do the last 25 comments. Sounds good, right?

13/12/14: As you can see I'm a little bit more than halfway through this challenge as it now stands to 110 comments that I have made. I only have 3 more days until the deadline, so I'm feeling more confident that I can get through this challenge within the next few days. At least I made up for it today due to the fact I wasn't feeling well yesterday and I took a break from the computer. But thankfully I'm back to being strong again ^^

12\12\14: After much consideration I have decided to allow people to suggest themselves. But please try to include some suggestions as to why you want to be picked :)

11/12/14: Two days into this challenge and I've managed to give out 50 comments so far! I remember when I first started this challenge last month by this stage I already was halfway through the challenge. Now I'm starting to lean towards more of a slow, relaxed pace as I juggle spending time with my family/doing other things and spending time on the computer getting on with various projects. Nothing else to report, but I feel everything is going great so far!

9/12/14: Well, third time's the lucky charm they say - that, and my lucky number is 3 too :P As I said previously I'll be doing this, so all of you should be familiar with the routine thus far. If you're not, then here's the jist of it - I'll be giving out 200 comments to 200 people within a week and since I'm starting today my deadline will be next Wednesday (which is the 16th). Please suggest other people in which you feel deserve more attention for whatever reason - I am very much all ears :)

29/11/14: I've managed to complete the 200 comments project challenge for the second time! I just can't believe that for this month alone due to this project I have given out 400 comments to different people - pretty fantastic, huh? :P As always thanks so much for the support and I'm really glad to have the pleasure of seeing some very awesome work along with getting the opportunity to connect personally with other people. I'll be doing this challenge again for the third time next month and it will be from the 9/12/14 to 16/12/14, so I welcome any suggestions in the meantime. Once again I really appreciate the never ending barrage of support, guys!

28/11/14: After a busy week in real life I've made some progress in regards to my challenge. I still got another 46 comments to give to people, so I'm fairly confident that I'll complete the challenge by tomorrow (which is the last day!)

25/11/14: Finally reached the halfway point with 100 comments, which is pretty good. I think I'll manage to give out 100 comments to the literature pieces as the comment count stands at 71 comments so far - probably that will be done in around one to two days time depending on how well my week goes. Once again if you have any recommendations of other people who you think deserves more comments don't be afraid to let me know :XD:

23/11/14: It's only yesterday that I stared the challenge a second time around and I'm glad to say that I've made 50 comments already, meaning I am a quarter into this challenge :)  If you can't tell I'm focusing more on the literature pieces as currently it stands as this: I've given 35 comments to literature works and 14 comments to visual art works. Already it's slightly different to the first time I done this challenge when in the early days I'd favour visual arts over literature, which is strange as I myself is more of a writer.

22/11/14: As promised, I'm doing this challenge again and I'm looking forward to commenting on on other people's works since the last one was a complete success! This challenge will once again last for a week, so the ending date is 29/11/14 and it's the same old routine where I'll give 200 comments to 200 different people. As always please comment with your suggestions of other people who I can check out! :D

13/11/14: Well, it's two hours before midnight and I have managed to meet my deadline and completed the challenge for good! :hooray: Seriously though, I really had so much fun. It allowed me to see interesting and new pieces of work in both visual art and literature. And because of this I received some great, meaningful replies from a lot of people who seemed to be over the moon that I chosen them to be a part of my comment challenge. Most of them wished me luck and rallied me on and that is what made me want to continue making good comments :D Also, I'd like to thank those who have given me suggestions of those who deserved some feedback - you have helped me and I really appreciate your support. The next time I'll be doing this challenge is at the end of this month, which will be a little more than a week from now. I plan to do this again from 22/11/14 to 29/11/14. So until then stay tuned and I'll see you then!

13/11/14: I've got another 31 comments to give until I finish this challenge. I'm really confident that within a few hours time I'll get everything finished. I now have to focus more on the literature since I've practically given 100 comments to visual art :)

8/11/14: I have finally reached halfway through the challenge with a whopping 100 comments! I'm really proud of myself considering it's the second day in and I have another 5 days to go! :D

UPDATE/NEW IDEA: If you want to suggest other artist to help me on my challenge, please leave your recommendations in the comments below! :D

I've had this in my mind for quite a while actually, and I thought it would be best to put the plan into action before I might go another day without doing anything about it. So here's my idea.

As most of you realise I like giving out comments to people. That shows very clearly through the comment threads I've been doing for almost full year now, especially in the forums. I kinda want to take things to the next step. With what I have in mind I'm going to embark on this project in which I'll be giving out 200 comments to 200 different people within a timeframe of a week. I'll be dividing the comments into each section: literature and visual arts such as drawings and photos. In simplier terms I'll give 100 comments to both literature and visual arts.

I'd rather not anyone ask me to choose their work purely because I want to be random in my choices. It could be someone who I haven't encountered before, someone who I have commented on a few of their works, or even one of my Watchers/friends. So, if you are chosen then consider yourself very lucky indeed ;)

I'll be doing this challenge every month starting this month. I plan to do it twice - one at the start of the month while the other at the end of the month. You see, if this was a weekly thing then that wouldn't work and it will eventually drive me slightly mad. So yeah, a bi-weekly schedule seems rather suitable and sensible in my opinion :) Also, I'll be keeping you posted with updates as to where I'm at in my progress. You have been warned in advance - I'll be updating this journal quite a bit. I hope you don't mind, it's mostly for me to keep track of things. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things like that.
