Since we don't celebrate this holiday in the UK, feel free to tell me your plans for today, what you're thankful for and what you have done so far.
As for me, I haven't really been up to anything - I'm in one of those lazy moods at the moment. I've just been taking it easy, especially after feeling nervous/antsy last night. I think I worked myself up a little bit with the whole recruitment day for B&Q because it will be the first time of going to something like this. I'm trying my best to not think about it as much and thankfully it's working. Since it's scheduled for tomorrow morning I have to go to bed at a reasonable time tonight.
My dad has kindly offered to take me there - that kinda surprised me because I was willing to take myself there. The journey isn't too bad in my opinion. I have to take two buses as the store is located in a retail park along a motorway. So when dad told me of our plans, he said because he has to leave for work in the afternoon I'll have to make my way back home. That suits me down to the ground because I want to be independent and find out things for myself. Also, after the recruitment session I want to go into Romford and have a look around the shops to see if there's any sales going on. I might as well enjoy myself because why not? ^^
Ever since my 28th birthday I've been trying to keep myself busy and I think I have achieved some things even though they're considered small. For one, I've been very much focused on my writing - you would have noticed me pumping out chapter after chapter of the OTP Challenge fanfic over the past two weeks. I know it took something like two years to reach the halfway point, but I don't really care. I'm proud of myself for being so passionate about what I do and also write about.
Have I started writing my anime story yet? Nope, I haven't. Do I know when I will do it eventually? To be honest I don't really know. To be honest I haven't really thought about it, but it doesn't mean to say that it won't see the light of day because it will someday.
What I want the most is to finish off my OTP Challenge fanfic. I'm already halfway there and I intend to finish it completely by the end of this year. If I keep on with the progress that I'm currently making, that is doable. Right now I have a few words already written for Chapter 16. Last night I intended to write to my hearts content, but I got distracted as I listened to the whole Soul Eater OST on youtube. And when 10:30pm arrived I realised I couldn't be bothered writing so I turned everything off, got ready for bed and continued to watch my Soul Eater DVD.
Another thing I'm fully aware of is I haven't updated my Behind Closed Doors fanfic in a while. Shit, I've checked just now and the last time I uploaded a chapter was on 11th August. Actually since it's been three months it's not as bad as I originally thought. However the point I'm trying to make is due to the context of the story (mostly erotica/sexual as it involves Tennessee and Arizona engaging in intimate acts) I like to tone it down a bit from time to time. If there's one thing I realised is when you're writing about sex, it can get slightly repetitive at times if you know what I mean. That's all I'm going to say on the subject more or less.
I'm nowhere near finished with Behind Closed Doors because it's still an ongoing and long process. Why? It's gonna be 100 chapters long as I'm using my own inspired creation entitled 100 Themes Challenge: Sexual Stimulation as prompts for each chapter. So yeah, you can only imagine that it's gonna be a long, hard, time-consuming journey considering the fact I'm still writing Chapter 20. As soon as I get the inspiration, then I'll carry on. Until then, I'd rather take my time and not kill myself in the process
I'm rather proud of myself though for writing almost everyday for this month alone. I prefer to get myself into the regular habit of writing so it can help me in the near future regarding my original novel plans. When I do accomplish finishing the OTP Challenge by my deadline (the end of 2015) that's when I'll do that anime story.
I want to welcome 2016 by working on something original other than a story based on a show, video game, whatever. I want to write something that I can look back on years from now and proudly say, "I've done this. This is one of my greatest creations and I loved every second of it." True, this will be the first anime story I'll be writing, so I'd expect it to be challenging and exciting.
One last thing before I wind this journal up is this: I still don't know what to call my future anime story despite the fact I haven't even started writing it. A part of me doesn't want to call it 'Untitled' when I start uploading chapters on here. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I've finally figured out what the story is going to be about along with the main two characters (Norio and Katsumi), but I want to start thinking of potential titles
